Give us 30-degree temps anyday over the heat, yes?

I would highly recommend trying the ice bath recovery - you won't regret it!emmers712https://www.blogger.com/profile/15865493476823978890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3081872231855122210.post-71436784880197853432012-03-20T09:51:11.841-05:002012-03-20T09:51:11.841-05:00Thanks, Kim! I do read Running Kellometers and agreed with everything she said. And for sure, I will never forget BodyGlide every again after an experience like this, yikes! Thanks again for thinking of me for the meetup this weekend, too!emmers712https://www.blogger.com/profile/15865493476823978890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3081872231855122210.post-73695360553005071212012-03-20T07:28:23.796-05:002012-03-20T07:28:23.796-05:00Way to go! Keep getting out there in the heat (well, not every run, but you know) to get used to it. Just in case. I wish I was joking ;)

Do you read Running Kellometers? She said the same thing about the water. Sounds like they were not prepped for the HM!

Ice baths are heaven after a run like this! And you will never forget body glide again! I use vaseline on my lower half since it does not stain my black bottoms too much (it does stain the tops - well, the bottoms too but you can't see it).

P.S. You coming to the blogger meet up this Saturday? Let me know if you don't have the Facebook invite and I will look for you and add you :)kilaxhttp://www.ilaxstudio.com/blog/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3081872231855122210.post-29469683541423860292012-03-19T16:11:22.930-05:002012-03-19T16:11:22.930-05:00Thanks Molly! Therefore, I didn't think I would need any BodyGlide and was surprised when I did. Funny how that works, eh?

In the future, if the weather was supposed to be hot, I would definitely bring my own water bottle. It's such a horrible feeling to not have access to fluids when you so need them! But hopefully for your upcoming races the weather won't be an issue!emmers712https://www.blogger.com/profile/15865493476823978890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3081872231855122210.post-66074191978312931902012-03-19T15:27:32.929-05:002012-03-19T15:27:32.929-05:00AWESOME!!
