In the meantime, I am linking up with Deb's Wordless Wednesday Disney photo hop.
One of my favorites is the Main Street Electrical Parade at the Magic Kingdom. It's a stunning display of music, dancing, and lights in every color imaginable.

"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
- Walt Disney
I remember taking a tour backstage one year and we saw all these floats. There's so much room backstage but they have so much to store.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, how cool that you got to tour backstage! I can only imagine all the goodies they must have had back there. It would literally be a fantasy world!!!
DeleteThanks so much Wendy! I hope the remainder of your 2-week run break goes well, too!!!
ReplyDeleteAh, makes me want to see Disney again. Maybe in a few more years. Enjoy your adventure!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Natalie!!! I am off to read your Cinco recap now, too!!!
DeleteMy all time favorite parade! I love it! Enjoy your trip and travel safe!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Michaelyn! The Electric parade is such a classic!
DeleteGreat pics! I really like that parade as well. My pictures never seem to turn out when I take them of the parade.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Yes, I have about 20 pictures that came out blurry, too, which I didn't share here. =D
DeleteThe MSEP has grown on me the last few times I've gone. I confess that I really miss SpectroMagic, so it was hard to watch it the first time I saw it a few years ago. Now, though, I love the music and the floats. I also like that it's a "classic" Disney parade--it's timeless!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED SpectroMagic! So much that I actually bought the SpectroMagic soundtrack on CD. So I hear you on missing it! But MSEP is incredible too. =D
DeleteGreat pictures of one of my favorites! The Tinkerbell float is the perfect float to lead the parade. She really gets the crowd excited. Have a terrific trip and safe travels. I am looking forward to seeing all your pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb! I completely agree that Tinkerbell is a fantastic choice to lead off the parade. She seems to have that knack with the fireworks shows, too. =) Thanks for hosting the link-up, as usual - I am loving all the contributions!
DeleteGreat pictures from a fantastic parade! I love Tinker Bell's float. Such pretty, bright colors!
ReplyDeleteThanks Megan! The entire parade's array of colors is just stunning - and Tinker Bell is the perfect lead-off. =)
DeleteI remember seeing the original MSEP parade in the 70s (as an infant - ha ha ha)! It was pure magic. Sadly, my boys didn't care anything about watching the Disney parades growing up.
ReplyDeleteOh wow!!! That is awesome that it is such a timeless classic that it's still so amazing even today. Bummer about your boys not caring about the Disney parades growing up - maybe they'll start getting more into it later in life?!?!?
DeleteI love the MSEP! I was glad to see it return to WDW several years ago.
ReplyDeleteYes, the MSEP is such a classic!!! I am glad they brought it back, too!!! Some things are just timeless!!!
DeleteYay, love MSEP - it was my first ever Disney Parade. We'd gone to California and were like 'so, we should do Disneyland while we're here right?', basically just turned up at the park without a clue, haha!
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say that day visit to Disneyland is responsible for igniting my Disney-fire and I've never looked back. Good times :)
Thanks for sharing!
Thank goodness you decided on a "whim" to visit Disneyland! Think about all that you would have missed had you not decided to check it out. Disney can be a truly life-changing experience. Even though I know how magical it is, I STILL am amazed each time I visit. I have never looked back, either. =)
