Disney Parades

Happy Wednesday! I'm departing today to visit Helen in Korea and I am super excited!

In the meantime, I am linking up with Deb's Wordless Wednesday Disney photo hop.
Focused on the Magic
The theme for this week is "Disney Parades."

One of my favorites is the Main Street Electrical Parade at the Magic Kingdom. It's a stunning display of music, dancing, and lights in every color imaginable.

Tinker Bell leads the way!!!
Minnie!!!
The grand marshal himself!
Mickey needs no introduction!

"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."

  1. I remember taking a tour backstage one year and we saw all these floats. There's so much room backstage but they have so much to store.

    1. Thanks so much! Yes, I have about 20 pictures that came out blurry, too, which I didn't share here. =D

  6. The MSEP has grown on me the last few times I've gone. I confess that I really miss SpectroMagic, so it was hard to watch it the first time I saw it a few years ago. Now, though, I love the music and the floats. I also like that it's a "classic" Disney parade--it's timeless!

    1. I LOVED SpectroMagic! So much that I actually bought the SpectroMagic soundtrack on CD. So I hear you on missing it! But MSEP is incredible too. =D

  7. Great pictures of one of my favorites! The Tinkerbell float is the perfect float to lead the parade. She really gets the crowd excited. Have a terrific trip and safe travels. I am looking forward to seeing all your pictures.

    1. Thanks Deb! I completely agree that Tinkerbell is a fantastic choice to lead off the parade. She seems to have that knack with the fireworks shows, too. =) Thanks for hosting the link-up, as usual - I am loving all the contributions!

  9. I remember seeing the original MSEP parade in the 70s (as an infant - ha ha ha)! It was pure magic. Sadly, my boys didn't care anything about watching the Disney parades growing up.

    1. Oh wow!!! That is awesome that it is such a timeless classic that it's still so amazing even today. Bummer about your boys not caring about the Disney parades growing up - maybe they'll start getting more into it later in life?!?!?

  11. Yay, love MSEP - it was my first ever Disney Parade. We'd gone to California and were like 'so, we should do Disneyland while we're here right?', basically just turned up at the park without a clue, haha!

Needless to say that day visit to Disneyland is responsible for igniting my Disney-fire and I've never looked back. Good times :)

    Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thank goodness you decided on a "whim" to visit Disneyland! Think about all that you would have missed had you not decided to check it out. Disney can be a truly life-changing experience. Even though I know how magical it is, I STILL am amazed each time I visit. I have never looked back, either. =)
